Backups, infrastructure and recovery for growing businesses

Bulletproof Data
Security & Infrastructure.

Hardware fails. Laptops get stolen. Ransomware shows up on a Friday afternoon. We make sure that when it happens, you restore your files and get back to work instead of explaining to customers why everything is down.

About Us

Your Partners in
Data Resilience

Most businesses don't think about backups until the day they need one. We started Soree Solutions because we kept meeting owners who found out, too late, that their "backup" was a single external drive sitting next to the server it was meant to protect.

We design and run backup systems the way we'd want ours run: simple to understand, tested regularly, and built so that no single failure can take everything with it. Some clients want everything in the cloud. Others want hardware they can touch in their own building. We're happy to build either, or both.

You'll deal with the same small team every time, and we'll explain things in plain English.

Capabilities

Core Services

Pick one, or combine them. Most clients end up with a local copy for fast restores and a cloud copy for safety.

Cloud Backup Solutions

Your files are backed up automatically throughout the day, encrypted before they leave your network, and stored in geographically redundant data centers. You don't have to remember to do anything.

  • Servers, workstations and databases
  • Multiple restore points per file
  • Alerts if a backup ever fails

On-Premise Infrastructure

Prefer to keep your data in-house? We design, source and install backup hardware and networking sized for your building and your budget, then document it so you're never dependent on us to understand it.

  • Site survey and capacity planning
  • Storage, switching and rack setup
  • Room to grow as you do
Critical

Disaster Recovery

When a drive dies, a server is lost or ransomware locks your files, we bring your systems back with as little downtime as possible. We also help you write a recovery plan, so everyone knows what happens first.

Please note: total recovery time depends heavily on your available internet download speed, since the data has to travel back to you. A local backup copy makes this much faster.

How It Works

Four steps, no surprises

You'll always know what's happening and what it costs before we start.

  1. 1

    We listen

A short call about what you run, what you can't afford to lose, and how long you can be offline.

  2. 2

    We plan

You get a written proposal with a fixed price, covering cloud, on-premise or a mix of both.

  3. 3

    We set it up

We install, configure and run the first full backup, scheduled around your working hours.

  4. 4

    We keep testing

A backup you've never restored is just a hope. We run regular test restores and tell you the results.

Why businesses stay with us

Honest advice

If you don't need a big system, we'll say so. We'd rather size things properly than sell you hardware you'll never use.

Plain-English reporting

Each month you get a short summary: what was backed up, what failed, what we fixed. No jargon walls.

You own your data

Leave whenever you like and we'll help you take everything with you. No lock-in, no hostage fees.

FAQ

Common questions

Is cloud backup safe?

Your data is encrypted on your network before it's sent, so it's unreadable in transit and in storage. Copies are held in separate data centers, so one site having a bad day doesn't affect your files.

Cloud or on-premise: which one do I need?

It depends on how much data you have, how fast your internet is, and any rules you have to follow. Many clients use both: on-site for quick restores, cloud as the safety net if the building is ever lost.

How long does a full recovery take?

It mostly comes down to how much data you have and how fast your connection can download it. We'll give you a realistic estimate during planning, so you're not guessing in the middle of an emergency.

Will backups slow down our network?

Not noticeably. The first backup is the heaviest, so we schedule it for evenings or weekends. After that, only changes are sent.

Can we cancel if it isn't working for us?

Yes. We'll help you export your data and hand over your documentation.

Not sure where you stand?

Send us a short note about your setup and we'll tell you, honestly, where the gaps are. No obligation.
